Salute to the OP and to the @HNIC . Been here since 2006 and definitely gained a lot of knowledge, entertainment, wisdom and value. We have witnessed board members wins and losses, good times and pain, come ups and self Ocks, database errors, the coming of Quaid, board UI migration, Retlaw, and other things too many to mention but through it all, the board has stood the test of time. Definitely my favorite corner of the web.

I first logged on to BGOL in November 1998 (fuck... coming up on 25 years!!) and I can't even imagine what I'd do if this site ever went away.

Man. 20 plus years for me as well. The greatest thread ever, which helped me tremendously was the Crypto thread. Raised a family, went through a divorce, lost a bunch of bread, made it all back, and started traveling the world before all this passport Bros stuff all off advice from brothers on BGOL.
