Just finished watching my Tar Heels beat Kentucky. I have a little bit of concern though because at the end one of our freshmen, Tyler Zeller, got fouled hard, fell to the floor, and injured his wrist. I think it's his off hand, but whatever the case I hope the kid can come back soon...HOPEFULLY it looked worse than it really was...

...According to the article above he has multiple fractures in his left wrist. He's a right handed player so once it's healed it shouldn't effect his game too much. As for the rest of the team, now they really gotta kick asses this year. Kentucky just earned the rest of America thorough ass whippings from North Carolina...

If the defense for OU shows up tonight then the game is ours. They have been inconsistent all season. OU can't have a better set up than tonight coming off of a bye week to prepare and then playing at home.

I can't even get started on the offense! Both teams have fire power at quarterback and excellent receivers. There's potential for a lot of touchdowns on both sides.

OK, so the BCS title game has been set and it's Florida and Oklahoma. It really seems like Texas got shafted though. They're not the only team to get fucked by this system but damn, they did beat Oklahoma. As one of my co-workers said earlier it seems like there has been more talk about a playoff in D-1 Football than ever before. Hopefully it will be a part of making a change in the future...On another note, despite playing like shit and losing yesterday, the New York Football Giants won the NFC East because of the loss suffered by the Dallas Cowboys. On behalf of all the Giants fans out there I'd like to thank the Pittsburgh Steelers for beating Dallas and giving NY the East. Hopefully the Giants will be able to handle their own business and won't need anymore help this year though...

Let me address this comment here.... YES UT beat OU but where they fail is in the rest of their season. If we look at the opponents that UT had vs Tech vs OU we will undoubtedly and repeatedly win the strength of schedule battle. This is where most of the Texas teams hurt themselves. There non conference games are high school teams for the most part.

We played Cincinatti(ranked 12) and TCU(ranked 11 currently). Texas played Rice, Florida Atlantic, Texas El Paso. We already have contracts to play LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, and Tennessee in the near future seasons. We will play Miami and Tulsa next year.

Texas’ most marquee future opponents scheduled are UCLA and Mississippi. Texas’ four non-conference games in 2009: Wyoming, Central Florida, Texas-El Paso and Louisiana-Monroe.

I don't knock the fact that UT caught us slipping that day in October but people need to miss me with what they deserve and what we don't. When they improve their all around resume of games then I will feel like they missed out on something. And if people want to say Texas beat us then what about Tech beating them and us taking out Tech. The simple "we beat them argument" doesn't hold any weight when everyone should be considering the entire season and not just one game.








and on another note the fucking BCS is a bunch of punks for not putting Texas up against Alabama..... It should be UT vs Alabama, OU vs Florida. OU and UT winning out and summarily telling the world "FUCK the SEC" the BIG 12 SOUTH runs things.

...OK, I read what jjUST said, and as far as I'm concerned this is why we need a playoff. She makes good points, but there are good points made on behalf of UT and a few other teams who got shafted by the BCS...IF/when we get a playoff all the debates will end and the teams can play it out on the field. That way, a clear cut/true champion can and will be crowned...
