A question to sports fans...

What's up folks? I've got a quick question for you about sports. How many teams do you follow/like, and out of all of them who would you say is your #1 team? Who are you the most passionate about and why? What colors do you bleed? For me, I've always liked teams like the NY Giants, and LA Lakers, but my #1 all time team is North Carolina Basketball. Despite being from Connecticut, I've been a Carolina fan all my life. Like most folks, my family has roots in the south and for us Carolina Basketball runs deep. In addition to that some of my all time favorite players were/are Tar Heels (e.g. Michael Jordan, James Worthy, etc.). So SOL, who is your favorite team?

For me as I'm from the UK, our national sport is football (Soccer) to you guys. As you can see from my avatar I follow Tottenham Hotspurs. Been a fan all my life of this team. I live not too far from the football ground where they play.

For me it is the University of Miami !! No one else comes close. I determine what pro team I will root for by the number of Canes on the squads. Roll Canes !!!!

I'm also loyal to the Texans, Rockets, Comets, and Astros. Houston teams will always have my heart, even though they suck (not nearly as much as Carolina though )

Hell yeah I'm watching the game. Every Sunday and Monday night since I was a little kid. I flip back & forth between the AFC & NFC games. CYPM

North Carolina is my second home; my father and his side of the family live there. I follow the Carolina Panthers, UNC Tar Heels, and East Carolina. Pretty much all the North Carolina schools EXCEPT one -- that school in Durham. You know which one.

Having grown up in New Jersey I've always been a fan of the Giants and Yankess. As for basketball I really don't have a favorite team.

However I enjoy sports so even when my teams don't have winning teams or make the playoffs I still watch other teams with the same interest. I enjoy a good game.

The Sixers look like they may be on the come up. They've got some good young players and the addition on Elton Brand gives them a good veteran leader. They should make some noise in the East this year...

Yes I'm from the area...I've lived in 2 cities so far in my lifetime. OKC and San Antonio....

I'm glad that OKC has there own NBA team now. I will probably check them when visit the family or something. Hopefully the change will do the supersonics some good. I don't know if I'm feeling that name "Thunder" maybe it will grow on me I will root for them as long as they aren't playing against my SPURS. They are definitely my first basketball love....

As for the Series, I haven't watched much baseball over the last few years, but I know what's going on with it. As you mentioned the Rays have been a incredible story all season, and they've been at or near the top of the AL since the season began. I think the Phillies may be at a disadvantage in the first game or two due to the layoff they've had over the last week. Other than that I have no idea what will happen. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I may even watch a few innings...

Naw, just kidding ladies. It's cool to see the competitive spirit though......I work with a guy from Oklahoma and he's told us all about how intense the rivalry between UT and OU is. As a Carolina fan I know all about it. Our biggest rival is Duke (aka Dook, or Puke). I also work with a Dook fan. Other than liking that bitch ass team he's pretty cool, but when it comes to our teams he and I talk allot of shit back and forth...

Before the Ravens came, I used to support the Eagles. Watched the Skins, but I wasn't crazy about them.
