A lesson i learned about dogs

TRUFICTION

SINCE 1998
BGOL Investor
I RECENTLY ADOPTED TWO PURE BLOOD PRESA CANARIOS FROM A FRIEND WHOS DECIDED THAT HE AND HIS WIFE WOULD HAVE A CHILD AT 50. THEY DIDNT WANT THE DOGS AROUND WHEN THE BABY CAME SO HE ASKED IF I WANTED THEM. I WAS STILL THINKING ABOUT IT. THE NIGHT AFTER SHE GAVE BIRTH HE CALLED ME AND I AGREED TO PICK THEM UP. HE WANTED THEN TO HAVE A GOOD HOME SO I TOOK THEM. THESE TWO ARE 100 PLUS POUNDS EACH. 2 YEARS OLD AS WELL.

FAST FORWARD TO A FEW WEEKS AGO WE REALIZE THAT THE FEMALE IS PREGNANT. SHE HAD JUST COME OUT OF HEAT WHEN WE GOT HER.
ACCORDING TO OUR MATH THIS HAPPENED ON THEIR WATCH. BASED ON THE AMOUT OD DAYS A DOG IS PREGNANT IT HAPPENED RIGHT BEFORE WE GOT THEM. SO I HAVE INHERITED TWO BIG ASS DOGS PLUS NOW 6 PUPPIES

LATE THURSDAY NIGHT SHE BEGAN THE PROCESS OF GOING INTO LABOR AND GAVE BIRTH ON FRIDAY ABOUT 3 IN THE AFTERNOON WE LOST TWO THAT APPEARED TO BE UNDERDEVELOPED. SHE HAD A TOTAL OF 9
HERES WHERE THE LESSON COMES IN.....................

I ALWAYS FIGURED THIS SHIT IS PRETTY EASY ,BUT LET ME TELL YOU
I DONT KNOW WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT TO DELIBERATELY BREED DOGS !
THIS SHIT IS WORK ...I AM EXAUSTED AFTER TWO STRAIGHT DAYS OF MAKING SURE SHE DOESNT CRUSH THE PUPS ONE OF WHICH SHE DID SUFFOCATE BY LAYING ON IT WHILE I WAS SLEEP :(
SO THAT LEAVES 6
IMG_A3256.jpg

THEY ARE ALL FEEDING WELL BUT MOM IS CLUMSY AS HELL
SHE KEEPS SITTIN ON THEM TRYING TO PROTECT AND KEEP THEM WARM.
I HAVENT HAD ANY SLEEP AND THIS IS WORSE THAN WHEN MY KIDS WERE BORN...MAYBE I JUST CARE TOO FUCKIN MUCH ....EITHER WAY ...
IM FUCKIN TIRED !
IMG_A3266.jpg

ALTHOUGH I DIDNT WANT THIS OR DO IT
THERE IS NO FUCKIN WAY I WOULD DO THIS SERIOUSLY AND ANYONE WHO BREEDS DOGS WITHOUT THE PROPER TRAINING AND EQUIPMENT NEEDS THEIR HEAD EXAMINED ! SHE WILL BE SPAYED IMMEDIATELY.
IF I EVER GET ANOTHER DOG ...WHICH I DOUBT
I WILL BE EVEN MORE CAUTIOUS ABOUT WHO AND W3HERE THEY COME FROM AS WELL AS HOW THEY WERE BRED AND CARED FOR FROM THE TIME OF BIRTH..........
THESE WILL ALL HAVE THEIR SHOTS BE HOUSE TRAINED AND KNOW HOW TO SIT BEFORE THEY LEAVE HERE.
WHEW !......................

Good lookin dogs and pups.

Side note - looks like the male had just got done fuckin in the first pic and settled in for a good ass nap. LOL!

My Kaya had a litter of 12! 9 made it. Actually she was really a great mom and I had to do very little. What you are going to have to really watch out for is when the puppies start to wean. You have to watch them really carefully when they eat cause they can choke and die on their food real easy. You will probably want to keep them mostly confined to a specific area as well because they can wreak havoc very quickly. Once the razor teeth come in dont think you will be barefoot at all. They LOVE feet! You will also probably bug out to see how they all move together like a little army. Almost like ants or something. BTW you will know when it ia time to wean because the mother will run away from the puppies and they will chase her and she will kepp running LOL

Get the papers for its lineage and prepare to sell them pups.... a pureborn would fetch a pretty penny..

Sorry you lost 3....depending on yur paper work and bloodlines...$500-$2000/ea...

those are some bad ass dogs,,, i've always wanted one,,, my girls neighbor has a black one & she's beautiful,,,

the thing you have to realize is that it's suvival of the fittest,,, you have to let nature take it's course,,, every pup in the litter is not gonna make it, & you shouldn't try & save them,,, the mother sometimes eats or kills the ones she thinks are the weakest

SHE WAS GOOD ABOUT THEM ALL
THE LAST TWO WERE STILL BORN AND SHE SMOTHERED THE LAST.
THE RUNT EATS BETTER THAN ALL OF THEM ...

THANKS FOR THE INFO AND THINGS TO THINK ABOUT
THEY ARE CONFINED NOW AND WILL BE THEN.
THEY WONT BE CHEWING ON SHIT UP IN HERE

what are you going to do with the pups? i want the one on the left tit

WE ARE GOING TO FIND GOOD HOMES FOR THEM
WE HAVENT DECIDED WHAT HOW MUCH WE ARE GOING TO CHARGE
BUT CAN TELL YOU IT WONT BE MUCH COMPARED TO WHAT THEY COST
I HAVE NO PAPERS AND DONT CARE TOO.

my ex's family had a german shepherd that gave birth to pups,,, she killed 4 of them, so my ex grabbed the last 2 newborns & brought em home,,, i did all kinds of research on how to take care of em,,, it's almost impossible to raise newborns without the mother & her milk tho,,, the pups died about a week & a half later,,, i had gotten attached to them in that short amount of time

SAD SHIT ....AT FIRST I WAS THINKING I MIGHT HAVE TO DO SOME SHIT LIKE THAT TOO.........WE WERE TOLD WE MAY HAVE TO REMOVE THEM FROM THE MOTHER EXCEPT TO FEED.
MY SON AND I JUST BURIED THE OTHER THREE TODAY

i wish i could have a new dog.I would want one of these. How much are you selling them for?

HAVENT DECIDED ........BUT ILL KEEP YOU POSTED
WONT BE MUCH COMPARED TO WHAT THEY ARE WORTH.

NO WAY.......ILL SELL FOR A GOOD PRICE BUT WITH NO PAPERS....
I MAINLY WANT TO BE SURE THEY HAVE GOOD HOMES

Growing up, my parents bred Rottweilers...... I've been throught about 10 different litters of pups. I know exactly what you're talking about!

nice pups,,,what's the blue tystrap for,,,you got some loot right there in six weeks

we use them for immediate identification
so we know who is eating and who may not be as well as the girls from the boys there are two girls and 4 boys
all the ones who died were boys too
the boys will look like their dad.

Mom, dad and kid are beautiful. i hate to tell you they well not be trained by the time they leave that is hard work and this is just the beginingthat is some hard work tip where ever you keep them get a kiddie pool an put them in there the keep up nd clean up will be easier.

A lot of homeowners don't realize that when people sue for dogbite they sue the homeowners policy.
The insurance company have the deepest pockets, and for those that have mortgages lenders require a HO insurance.

 MOST PEOPLE DONT KNOW THAT
THEY ALSO DONT KNOW THAT MOST INSURANCE COMPANIES WONT INSURE YOU AT ALL FOR THE DOGS ON THE LIST.
I RAN INTO THINGS LIKE THIS YEARS AGO WITH MY ROTT.
ONE THING IS FOR SURE
THESE I HAVE NOW ARE NOT FOR AMATEUR DOG HANDLERS.
YOU HAVE TO CLEARLY UNDERSTAND DOG MENTALITY.

If I remember correctly, you lost a dog a few years back.. Are these your first since then?

one of my friends breeds bulldogs, and the mama dog abandoned them after 2 days, but we later found out that the first two days are the most important; so we went to work.

we took the pups from her kennel cause she wanted nothing to do with them, brought them in the house, and bottle fed them a mixture of goat milk and corn syrup for 3 weeks. they needed to eat every 3 hours; so we worked 'shifts' to keep them alive.

at 3 weeks, we got them off the bottle and on solid food, and they are now outside my house in an above ground kennel at 5 months old, healthy & happy.

that shit was a lot of work but these pups go for $1200 each... it was worth it.
