A former Lakers guard is reportedly on the brink of losing more than $75 million in a brutal free agency

Best years in the NBA were when he was playing with future hall of fame PGs and he does this dumb shit...

fucked up thing is, even if he was to hv a great season, he'll always be severely shortchanged or even unemployed. No way he seeing close to 84 million again.

I think these cac owners have a secret agreeemnt in place to "keep these greedy negroes in check." Happened to Spreewell, IT, Oladipo, etc..
I wonder what happened in IT’s case because I remember him balling out and still not getting paid and playing through injury …

I am curious how many players has this actually happened too?

Boogie got screwed over from the team and then the injuries if I am not mistaken right?
I believe it happened to Isaiah Thomas as well....he was on the verge of being the face of the Celtics.
He opted out and was destined to get a big contract....got hurt....and everything went downhill from there.

’He needs time — I think he’s in a state of shock because of what he’s done,’ the source said of Schroder turning down a four-year, $84 million offer last season from the Lakers, who responded by trading for Russell Westbrook.”

I know he signed with the Celtics...just ragging on him. His ego and assholy behavior is why the Hawks got rid of him.

He thinks he's the best PG in the world and just cost himself millions like Nerlens Noel.

This^^^^^^

NBA GMs were on a revenge tour this off-season. Most players with a bad rep for attitude and work ethic got offered shit like MLE and veterans minimum.

Andre Drummond went from being a starting 2 time All Star C making 25M to Embids back up on a vet min. I mentioned this before and guys like Blake Griffin and Schoerder got low deals.

These guys wont see the big contracts they may be used to because by the time the reprove themselves they will be on the wrong side of 30 with only a few markets bidding on their services.

Playing in NY, LA, and Miami isnt the way you become a superstar. Kobe is the only player in the last 20 years to reach superstar status on these teams despite these cities having 5 teams.

Griffin and Wade do qualify as stars but never reached the level of Durant and LeBron or even Curry. Transient cities with fickle fanbases where much of the crowd could be routing for the visiting team arent cites you build a league off of.

The NBA likes being the only show in town in places like Sacramento and OKC/Seattle but shits on the same loyal fanbases so teams with no history like the Nets/Clippers can shine because it may appeal to international fanbases who care about players playing in internationally known cities.

Dennis is an asshole who fits the description of the type of player the NBA GMs are trying to teach a lesson. Player like Trey Lyles are now signing in cities that they once described as lame to stay in the league.

Off topic, I also noticed that a lot of NBA guys are washing out of the league by age 25. Thats an NFL career. Next few years are gonna be interesting come CBA time. It seems only a few guys are gonna make big money as long as you aren't a distraction. Players like Zion, Emoni Bates and LeBron may be able to have the pull to dictate terms in the future but the rest of the league better stay on notice.

Isiah got injured. His hip is still a problem. Ainge takes heat for not paying him but Thomas hasn't been the same player.

Dennis got Covid and had a bad playoff series. He and Reggie Jackson are the same player. Dennis needs to learn to play off ball like Reggie did. But he aint seeing Laker offer number unless Bezos buys the entire NBA and gives everyone a 400% raise. 5.9x4=23.6M.

Buy a space ride ticket Dennis and you might convince him to do it. #NBA team on the moon
#Zero gravity ball
#NBA dancers tits and ass in Low Gravity

This is a guy (Schroeder) who got beat up in his own club in Atlanta and came in drunk and tired from spending his nights there. That also contributed to him being run out of town like Peerless Price.

Did you see that beautiful White Queen he married? She's worth her weight in the money he lost in free agency. Even though if he wasn't an NBA player there's no way in hell she would even look his ugly ass way, but she will love him regardless of how much money he makes
Man please
