The Machinist w/Christian Bale is a bomb ass movie if you're anything like me & take a high level of liking to suspense/thrillers/mysteries. The Black Power Mixtape is damned good as well. I've only really been watching Batman Beyond, Justice League & JLU eps. I got Wolverine & The X-Men & a few of those Spiderman junts on my queue as well. The Lincoln Lawyer is one of those movies that I can watch back to back like Casino. There's really not much being released on Netflix nowadays that I get excited about. Oh, that Ted Bundy movie is decent too.

Low budget flick, it feels like it too, made in 2000. Feels like an 80s after school special. Pretty good, interesting twist at the end. Watched it because I'm a fan of Alexis Fields and Anna Maria Horsford (Amen, Friday, The Wayans Bros.)

The Red Riding Trilogy
It has the guy who played the newest Spiderman and The guy who played Ned Stark on Game Of Thrones.

Sure to be one of the cinematic events of the year, RED RIDING is a mesmerizing neo-noir epic based on factual events and adapted for the screen by Tony Grisoni (FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS) from David Peace's electrifying series of novels. An official selection of the Telluride, New York, Chicago and AFI Festivals, and acclaimed by critics an eminent accomplishment, the trilogy follows several characters in intertwining storylines united by the horror wrought by the "Yorkshire Ripper," a serial killer who terrorized northwest England in the 1970s and '80s.

The three films are directed by three notable filmmakers--Julian Jarrold (BRIDESHEAD REVISITED), Academy-Award(R)-winner James Marsh (MAN ON WIRE) and Anand Tucker (SHOPGIRL). Each boasts a stellar British cast that includes Andrew Garfield (THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS), Sean Bean (LORD OF THE RINGS), Paddy Considine (DEAD MAN'S SHOES), Rebecca Hall (VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA), and Peter Mullan (TRAINSPOTTING).

Anybody watch the series underbelly?

Yes...very good series...I didn't expect the 1st season to end the way it did...each season is a new cast (and time frame)...gratuitous ass and tits as well as violence...and it helps that the stories are real and pretty much accurate...@ 1st I was just watching it to kill time while working out but the 1st season grew on me after the 3rd/4th ep...I finished season 1 a while ago but was weary about starting the 2nd season since it was a completely diff storyline...I just started it a couple nites ago tho...it's ok so far...takes place in the late 70s/early 80s this time...if you look up the real life counterparts of the characters in season 1 you'd be surprised how close the actors resemble them

I was a lil nervous at 1st cause House of Cards (which is based off the british miniseries from the early 90's and is also on netflix and imo is just as good if not better than the new american version) is a netflix original show!!..but after watchin it I'm surprised hbo or showtime didnt pick this show up!!.. Frank Underwood aka F.U is nooooo joke!! :smh::smh:

Have you seen the british house of cards??? Dude who plays Frank ain't no fucking joke either.

Flowers of War. Great film, setting is during the rape of Nanking. Christian Bale is great in it, but the true highlight is the Chinese cast (for most, their acting debut) and how well it's shot/directed. Out of all the films about the period, I was most touched by this one. Brought a flood of tears out of my wife as well, so be sure to have your tissue box ready for your ladies.

Season 2 is decent so far...again based on more real life shit...a lot of actors from Spartacus are in this season...Gannicus...Crassus slave chic...and the Roman chic who ended up fuckin w/ Spartacus
