I'll preface this by saying I'm a fan of Busta's music. When I was a student at NYU in the early 90s we had hip hop shows on campus regularly, and students were given the opportunity to help out with the logistics, welcoming the artists, etc. After one such show where Leaders of the New School performed, Busta was basically a dick to everyone back stage. This was in contrast to Charlie and Dinko, you chatted backstage with us for nearly a half hour after the show.
Similar thing happened when 3rd Bass performed. Serch was an arrogant jerk, but Pete Nice was cool as hell. Hung out with several of us for about 20 minutes and when he was ready to leave, we walked with him out to West 4th to catch a cab to Brooklyn.
