Only the ones that move to Atlanta dont come back..

He old enough to know better

Before social media our parents had to Train us to just get back home safe because we had to worry about cops who would /could/did harrass us beat us, white women lie on us, etc etc.

White kids didn't.

If my kid did this? they would be made to apologize and fired. Hell their schools, programs and sports leagues have honor codes they have to sign.

Why does the white boy get the "he just joking" pass?

Yeah, I think it was worth clowning into oblivion. But I swear I seen folks talking about contacting his job and all kinds of shit. You know some are way too sensitive these days.

As for NYC, place is great to visit, but wouldn't want to live there. First time I was up there as a teen I was in awe of how alive it was in the middle of the night. Since I'm usually a night owl, that shit was nice as fuck to me. Saw 2 story Mcdonalds that served me at 3am. Came back here and they shutdown at 11. Also, fruit outside stores in the middle of the night like it was 2pm. Shit felt like a festival and it was just a regular Tuesday. :lol:

Why though? Shit is funny to me. Out of touch white folks. What's new? I just mentioned shit like this the other week in one of the threads about gun violence. How white folks coming to corner stores with bulletproof glass would be shocked. I bet money most these white folks don't know shit like that exists and that's how people shop for food.

And it's just not before social media. It's right now. I tell my own kids they have to move different than white and asian kids. Because of cops and their peers. It's all shit white parents don't have to worry about. Also told my sons flat out their sisters can go and do shit they might not be able to do. Black children must be raised in reality while white kids can be raised in lala land and make it to old age.

I'm just not of the camp of getting people fired for bullshit. Never have been, and never will. And to be clear, the guy is an asshole and I won't care if he is fired. But remember, the white folks that are on this 'firing over social media' shit keep moving goal posts. Really want to be on that side? Because when it comes down to it, our kids might suffer the most from moved goal posts.
