I use was used to grocery stores down here in NC, I was pleasantly surprised at the bodegas in NYC. On top of them having lunch menus for sandwiches. Literally sells everything.

Depending on who own it/ run it / cook, you literally could have whole meals in their spot.. Hispanic, African, West Indian , etc might have somebody making real meals in the kitchen(Yemen nigs just gonna be making certain things on the grill)
