I'm not one who believes that the ends justify the means in most cases. There is no valid reason for it as it doesn't move us closer to the goal, and could move us further away when making enemies in the process.

You may have some ADOS ancestry down the line, but you got whites and immigrants in your family as well, which is why you identify with their issues over ADOS. With the resurgence of the normalization of open white supremacists in high positions of power and flashing white power signs, it will probably be 50 years before dems get any power back.
Funny how some of y'all are smart enough to recognize what happens when a power vacuum is created in Syria so Turkey and Russia can step in when the US disengages, but can't see what would happen on a smaller scale should black folks do the same. Absence allows others to come in and take over, make the rules and set the agenda and by the time the mistake is realized bodies are piled up everywhere.
Right now the only thing that will save the country, once black folks disengage and give up power, are the kids who care about environmental issues and gun laws.

I'm always going to counsel on the side of peace, justice and doing the right thing. You should always put your own first, but you aren't a good person if you are ok with atrocities happening, as long as it doesn't happen to you. I can see the bigger picture. I can see beyond my self and my wants and needs. Women in general can't just think about ourselves, we are taught from the womb how everything we do affects others, especially our family. I don't have kids but I have nieces and nephews and extended family that I care about. I have family that live in areas being hit by hurricanes every year. I have older people in my family that rely on Medicare, and I will need it eventually. I'm concerned about the chemicals in the food I buy. I'm concerned that we have fair judges so black folks get a fair chance in court.
When the recession hit my car was broken into twice in about 30 days. I've lived here for decades and never had to deal with crime before so I need other people to have a safety net like unemployment, food stamps etc so they don't feel they have to resort to crime and endanger me and mine. The GOP wants to do the opposite of all of this, but hey as long as we can say we aren't blindly following dems and can feel good and self righteous about ourselves as the country burns (literally in CA, where Trump wants to cut funding. I'm sure no black folks are affected tho, it's all gay white libtards) then it's all good.

They are not envious of the visibility of those groups like they are ADOS. We have to understand that virtually ALL diaspora blacks either want to live in or have access to the US. And many see themselves as better so us always being in the spotlight creates insecurity issues.

If not for the push to have us give up power by not voting and sowing discord amongst black peoples that aids white supremacy, I wouldn't have commented to begin with. Initially my plan was to amplify the message on social media and find a way to support, but I couldn't get answers on a coherent plan and I'm not going to promote what I see as something half baked which sows hatred toward other black cultures. A sizable portion of BGOL is nonADOS, and while I want to slap a good percentage of them a lot of times, nonADOS and ADOS alike, I'm familiar with the personalities. Some I speak with offline and on other platforms, and I consider them like an online family.
If I'm going to promote something, I need to be able to articulate how it works, what success looks like, and steps to realize it. I can't even get a list of candidates that support their agenda to be able to size them up. Yeah, I could do my own research, but reparations is not a high priority for me, even though I recognize we're owed. If they pull it off I still get paid, regardless of the fantasy being spun about my lineage. If it doesn't happen, my financial life doesn't change. I can't wait and hope and plan my future based on a windfall that might never come, and will never come the way they are going about trying to convince folks. Other issues like healthcare are far more immediately pressing for me.
