Man I wanted to like it but it’s excruciatingly bad - at least the first couple of eps. And all of guest stars they’ve landed aren’t helping either. I’m trying to let it find its rhythm but sheesh.

IMO they shouldve sought so OG advice from Whoppi, wanda sykes, turn some moms mabley/marsha warfeild into skits.
The production value is AMAZING the guest stars incredible make up and effects top notch
I see the hard work they put in and the concepts are great.
Trinity is actually deep as hell
The viral proposal was amusing
The female gang monster.com was good
The wedding...
And i feel it got better as it progressed
But ummm...
I feel like they forgetting the most important ingredient
The funny
And its nothing to do with straight gay male female cis whatever.
Funny is funny.

It really tough but it does get better by the episode 3.

Thats a lot if money and star power and HBO behind it full on.
They were trying WAY to hard to cater to a specific audience...
Cause that 227 bit should have been in the 1st episode... THAT was tight as hell.

So then there's the actual funny moments.....which for me just ain't there. I think these sisters are funny but it might either be that I just can't get with female humor or it may just be this shit just not funny to me at this point. A few chuckles here and there. To me this is the same level of funny as Insecure. And I actually like Insecure but does anyone watch Insecure for laughs? Its Insecure without the story.
If I had advice to give them...I'd say stick with the end of the world story and build around that. Have a skit or two per episode. Far more interesting then the skits are.

This show is awful. 
It's homosexuality, they make fun of Shahrazad Ali, it's barely any positive male presence and all that to be bland thank God. Of it was funny they'd be able to further push this negative propaganda into African American communities

New season sucks ass. Not one funny sketch. First season was great. This time around no Quinta and some boring ass replacements. Nah. I only watch now cuz wife turn it on and Robin Thede fine as fuck to me
