80's Music Acts (And Their Knock-Offs)

NOPE PLAYA you got this wrong. dead wrong. If your from Philly you would know this. Many emcees were way better than WILL before he hit it big. Too many to even discuss. Nobody was fuckingn with DJ Jazzy Jeff, because he was the GOAT from day one but as far as WLLl, he was ok at best and Marvelous was nice as fuck live.. on records, shit sounded different, just like CASH Money is a GOAT but on record you would not know it. I love Jazzy JJeff too, but DJ CASH money is that dude also that can and does hold his own against Jeff. Peep out some of Cash Money mixing videos on youtube and you will see he ain't no joke at all.

I know, but Rick was from Britain and his accent was real, came out first and his shit was 100 times better, so sorry Dane your a knock off...
BTW wasn't Michael and Marlon also in the same group...
But Dana had one good hit, Nightmares, albeit inspired by Rockwell, another dude with a phony English accent. :hmm:

Marlon & Michael are Jackson 5, family.

Where's Prince and his knockoff? Ready for the World?

I remember Christopher Williams bit Bobby Brown's My Pregorative with his song song called Talk to Myself
Record label made him do it. He hated that song. They even had him looking like Bobby in the video.
:lol::lol:

Man this is almost criminal.

I'm surprised bobby didn't sue him for that shit...seriously:smh::smh::lol:

Bobby was on MCA
C Williams was on Geffen

Prerogative came out late '88
Talk came out Spring Summer '89

By March '90 MCA was buying out Geffin....

MCA Buys Out Last Major Independent Record Label : Entertainment: In a much anticipated deal, the giant conglomerate will get Geffen Records for stock worth $545 million.
