African Immigrants Most Educate
Despite the economic plights many are faced with when coming to America, the Census Bureau found that a significant amount of the foreign-born population from Africa have a higher level of education than most immigrants from other countries. While 41 percent of America’s African-born population had a bachelor’s degree or higher, based on the 2014 report, less than 30 percent of all other immigrants boasted the same accomplishment.

So almost 1 out of 2 Africans not only went to college, but graduated?FOH..Census data huh;);)

Lol, it's that simple, huh? Life in Africa is simple and they don't face any social or cultural obstacles in america, therefore they are expected to succeed. Hilarious.

You mean the people or the continent? What international respect do African countries command?

No, immigrants tend to be the people who are more hungry than the rest. That goes for all immigrants. Furthermore, it's harder for people of color to get to the U.S. Can't just walk here like the Mexicans. African immigrants tend to go through legal channels, so only the top are getting in to begin with.

How many are turned away? How many can't get here? Considering how large Africa is, there aren't a lot of African immigrants. Perhaps 4 percent to about 20 percent for Asians. They only pushing in the cream of the crop, more than they do even with Asians.

Great post!!!
I agree with 100% of what you posted right here.

I could go deeper into why millions of uneducated Mexicans are allowed to come here, whereas million of uneducated immigrant Blacks are kept out...but i'll save that for another thread.

As for the comparison between African immigrants and Black Americans......we'll there was a time when the majority of Black Americans were just as hungry. That "past hunger" from Black Americans is the reason why immigrants of color (Africans, Asians, Mexican, etc) are able to come to the US and prosper. Sadly a lot of Black Americans lost that hunger because we got comfortable with bs; Material bs, covert racism, being able to fraternize w/ the white folks, etc etc.

But then again...most American born people live in bs comfort zones.

MALCOLM X: Perhaps. You see, the American black man sees the African come here and live where the American black man can't. The Negro sees the African come here with a sheet on and go places where the Negro--dressed like a white man, talking like a white man, sometimes as wealthy as the white man--can't go. When I'm traveling around the country, I use my real Muslim name, Malik Shabazz. I make my hotel reservations under that name, and I always see the same thing I've just been telling you. I come to the desk and always see that "here-comes-a-Negro" look. It's kind of a reserved, coldly tolerant cordiality. But when I say "Malik Shabazz," their whole attitude changes: they snap to respect. They think I'm an African. People say what's in a name? There's a whole lot in a name. The American black man is seeing the African respected as a human being. The African gets respect because he has an identity and cultural roots. But most of all because the African owns some land. For these reasons he has his human rights recognized, and that makes his civil rights automatic.
