Hawaii woman wows crowd by dancing on The Ellen Degeneres Show
57-year-old former Honolulu resident Paula Ayotte danced on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and wants to remind people that older is still sexy!

LOS ANGELES - Don't just a book by its cover... or a dancer by her age. One long time Hawaii resident taught viewers of the The Ellen Degeneres Show that lesson.

She says she's been dubbed the dancing grandma, but Paula Ayotte doesn't actually have grandchildren. But she dressed the part when she was invited as a guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

The 57-year-old former Honolulu resident wowed Ellen and her viewers with her hip hop moves, winning her plenty of social media love. "I just have kind of been overwhelmed by all of the responses on her Facebook page and on EllenTube; so many people who've seen it. Because I'm 57, I found I have been able to inspire a lot of people who want to dance even just for fun, and they think they're too old. My message is, you can dance at any age," Ayotte encourages.

Don't be too shocked at Ayotte's ability. She was actually a professional dancer who performed in shows in Los Angeles and in the Splash production at the Riviera in Las Vegas. She also happens to be a competitive pole dancer!

Ayotte lived in Hawaii for 17 years and worked as a NOAA marine biologist. She moved back to LA in June to give professional dancing another shot.

Ayotte admits, "It was definitely terrifying to give up my job and move back to see what would happen, but so far things are going great."

When asked if the industry is harder now that's she's older, Ayotte says it's actually been easier because there's not as much competition for older dancing roles; you just don't see someone Ayotte's age hip-hop dancing. Ayotte says she wants to change that.

Ayotte says, "I just feel like there's so much pressure in media and society to look young, to be young. This is me at this age, 57. This is my hair, this is my skin, I'm not going to do anything to it and it's still possible to be beautiful, to be sexy, to dance, to be fit, to be all of these things."

Ayotte hopes her performance on Ellen inspires others to dance their way to their dreams at any age.

a Ringer that’s aged! News worthy if she’s doing some “Hines Brothers” type shit with a Black girl!

she`s a pro .... she jus dressed like she old as dirt for the show...

bitch sexy she can get it .... :jackoff:

I couldn't figure out how to embed the video. Did you rip it and upload it yourself?

That's impressive for an old chick!

Well she was way better than that lame as fuck shit Ellen does and calls it dancing. Based on the following clip her reputation as being a good dancer is straight bullshit.

This was a colossal waste of my time!
I was expecting a grandma with some junk in her trunk bouncing around ….. tittys bouncing in a low cut top ….. this was grade "A" @the_male_feminist / @MASTERBAKER type of shit here

I know she's 57 .... but her skin looks like worn shoe leather .... she got cracking cac skin on her

.

.

1) Ellen is so bad at dancing, she looks good doing it.
2) Ellen knows she's bad at dancing, but she doesn't gaf because she's having a good time...and tbh, that's what it's all about.
3) Hawaiian girl can get it. She looks good for her age. There are women posted on this board who aren't as good looking as she is, real talk.
4) 57 is not old. Maybe to some teens and 20s on here, but I bet she'd show them some things.
