So much for 50 Cent and TMT Promotions -- or so it appears.

RingTV.com reports that Billy Dib, one of the fighters signed by 50's upstart boxing promotional outfit, has had his contract moved to Mayweather Promotions, and that a source has said the rapper-"actor"-business guy is out of the sport already, having never put on a single show.

Sekou Gary, an attorney who has represented Jackson, contacted Dib's legal representatives to notify the Australian boxer that his TMT Promotions contract has been assigned to Mayweather Promotions and that "50 Cent is no longer involved in boxing."

Dib was signed to TMT, along with Yuriorkis Gamboa, Andre Dirrell, and Celestino Caballero, reportedly. There's no word as to whether or not those guys will also be moved to Mayweather Promotions, which it seems may finally become an actual outfit more than a vanity project and way to make extra money.

Rumors recently have been flying that Mayweather and 50 Cent were at serious odds both personally and professionally. Floyd was seen in Las Vegas last week at the Matthysse vs Ajose show at the Hard Rock, supporting Mayweather Promotions fighters, including J'Leon Love.

TMT's official web site is already down.

What a run it was, huh? I thought it could have worked, but I knew two things for sure:

He needed Floyd.
He needed serious help from someone who knew the business.

Sounds like a few misunderstandings between Floyd and 50 that got out of hand because of all the people around them.

I would take 50's business sense over Floyd's any day. Either way they act like two big ass kids.
 
50 talks about everybodies financial situation besides his own, because interviewers are too scared of him to ask him hard questions, so he dictates the discussion.

Ask him about his situation at Interscope, movie situation or his headphones and you'll never get a straight answer.

He used rap to get to that real money. 50 has great business sense, Floyd Bragg's about how much $ he wins gambling but wont spend 2 mill for a legit boxing business that stands to yield much more $.... Floyd gonna be broke 2-3 year after he retire from the sport you wait and see.

Anyone who remembers that 50 from his South Jamaica days knows that Curtis aint going broke anytime soon and he's all about business ventures. This dude was selling his own album out of his trunk [I bought a copy from him directly], slanging to get the paper for studio sessions, and then reinvesting in himself. We all saw it..dude's hustle was all about getting more. It's the anti-nigga attitude that is very rare among street cats.

He hasn't changed..even now. It's a rare find to see 50 in a club "making it rain." The dude knows what it took for him to amass his wealth and he does EVERYTHING in his power to double and triple his money. That's why he was at such odds with his G-Unit artists who just wanted to lay back and relax...that's why he's at odds with Mayweather.

50 saw a money making enterprise beyond simply saying you're part of the "Money Team." Only problem was..this time around he pulled the trigger in breaking with Mayweather before TNT got off the ground. He knew what he was doing by having the company called "TNT" as opposed to "Mayweather Promotions." Call it TNT and Mayweather cant lay direct claim to it...call it Mayweather Promotions and even if you have the proper licensing, Mayweather can still make a proper showing in court that it was based off his likeness.

Had 50 waited till next year, when he had actually represented these fighters and placed them on a few cards, he would be considered a legit player in the boxing game and wouldnt fade so easily once he and Mayweather got into a squabble.

Exactly. Everyone who is upset with 50 Cent in the rap game is rich because of 50's hustle. You can't say a dude is sheisty or disloyal when everyone around him is getting rich.
