:dunno:

Hey, it might be something interesting for ya'll!

:dunno:

Thought there was once a post on it.

Thanks? :dunno:

I only want a diamond cause it's my birthstone, but do you have anything else on other jewels? I like something with a little more color in it. ;)

smh

mayne i swear bitches aint shit!!!!!

*get offended if ya wanna!!!*

U r so right.... "BITCHES" ain't shit... Nothing to get offended by if you aren't one....:hmm:

My birthstone is a diamond so I will have them....

Got a few nice ones already.... courtesy of him..:D

Oh and yeah I can get them for myself when and if I want to...;)

Ah, Shane, no disrespect my brotha but women don't BUY Diamonds....
well, maybe I should say "Fine women" don't.

Ohhh Wu...

Well...Mr. Se7en...

...I'd like to think of myself as attractive, (I don't use the word fine mostly), but I would buy myself diamonds...If I see something I want in the store I'm going to get it if I can...I'm not going to wait for anyone to give me something for whatever reason I can buy for me today.

I feel no disrespect. I don't give a fuck.

Don't think of it only as the gift of engagement.

I know many "Fine women" who got the money and enjoy buying diamonds.

But mostly I posted it here because ninjas on BGOL will never get married or buy a woman a diamond.

They're going to spend their lives fucking " 10s " and chin checking the Hulk.

:(
:smh:

There might be a couple...but, yeah you're mostly right about that. People live and learn.

the goal is holy matrimony.... not buying a piece of jewlry. Marriage under God. But find a verse that has a ring as a symbol of marriage? White america has poisoned black women.

:hmm:

Jewelry is nice. Every woman wants to feel nice. But who said anything about Black women wanting to get married for a piece of gold and a rock? Buying diamonds doesn't always have to do with 'marriage under God'.

*sigh

I need a reprieve. I'm getting frustrated.

Wake up...it isn't just black women "poisoned" with that idea...take a look around you: countless women are absorbed into this idea of the most extravagant ring, dress, wedding, etc. instead of building the union that is yielded from a wedding.

I can't even front and say I don't want a nice wedding; of course I do! But, I'm sure myself, as well as countless other women, recognize that the wedding doesn't mean shit if you don't have the firm, stable foundation of a good relationship with your partner. But, I digress...this isn't the forum for this topic. We'll (as in women) will always be judged by what men perceive of us anyway

Don't let me get jumped but there are plenty of women out there who are doing a lovely job of proving that "perception" every day.

That's because they either don't know any better or refuse to learn. The trick is to find those that either know, or are willing to change.

And as far as a wedding goes as long as it reflects the couples personal tastes, extravagant or not, it shouldn't matter.

(If anyone knows a seamstress I want a denim wedding dress.)
