how can he be a real ass dude when his character was a fake ass thug?
I've been a fan of Tupac Shakur ever since 2Pacalypse Now. But even people who began paying attention to him after he died knows Tupac was far from a fake thug because they would have taken the time to read old news stories revealing the many incidents Tupac got caught up in and his actions reflected realness.

Yeah, but the Good Life song is one on my faves. My other favorite posthumous song was "Fuckin' Wit the Wrong Nigga".
Finally, what made Tupac so prolific was the fact that the material he put out was ameliorated with each drop. With other rappers it's the total opposite and it's always difficult to top their classic which is usually their first album - but not Tupac...

2Pac got sucked into the Gangsta rap genre. His songs really show how he had an inner battle going within himself about this. He had a collection of gangsta songs and a collection of feel good/change the world songs.
Pac was true legend, the rap game would be so different in he was never assassinated.
