Man, you got fucked on 3 and 4 in the first episode. I expect number 5 to be an issue, but with a shorter season, the reveal will come sooner. Fuck it though that's how it is. They aren't going to change the formula now.

What always got me was that Jack didn't HAVE to kill Curtis. He could've shot him in the shoulder. hip.. leg. He didn't have to shoot to kill.
That's why Curtis' death failed to have the same emotional impact has some of the other 'main cast' deaths. They spent 5 years showing Jack displaying the ability to shoot and not kill when he needed information from a suspect. So it's not like Jack didn't have to skills to stop Curtis without killing him.
I always figured that the actor that played Curtis either pissed a producer off or had other shit to do and needed them to write him ouyt of the show. Those are the only thing that make sense.

Not really sure what you're talking about. I'm addressing THIS season, and the fact that Hellers character shows up out of the blue as president(after some years), without any mention of what happened after he went off that cliff. Perhaps that will be addressed in an upcoming episode.

The show has always been pretty predictable but Catelyn Stark's character makes this intriguing. Its going to be interesting how far they go with her. She is seems to be an excellent villain and she already knows that son in law is wavering. Also the girl from Dexter has a secret. I can feel it. Just enjoy the ride
They fucked up giving Chloe assess to all the CCTV cameras. She a red wig and some glasses short of being Barbara Gordon/Oracle from the Batman comics.
And I just realize way people should stop worrying about this season only being 12 episodes long. Every other season of this show is basically 2 or 3 mini seasons anyway. First 8 episodes they deal with one threat. Then in the ninth episode they 'discover' that it was all a part of a larger plot. Then they spend the next 8 episodes doing it again with new characters and new bad guys.
The only different with a shorter is that they won't have time to bullshit us with a 'larger conspiracy' angle.

No. I'm a James Spader fan but I heard it was terrible. I've never felt inclined to watch it.

He means you're 3 season behind because he drove the car off the cliff in season 5 ep 19. They later said he survived the crash. Which is plausible because he drove into the water and....this is a fuckin tv show. He then visited Audrey at the hospital in season 6 ep 20. The last time we saw him was the end of season 6 when Jack visited him and was planning to take Audrey.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that in the next episode Jack will escape CIA custody, Audrey will try to contact him, and Chloe will make at least 3 frumpy faces.
..and in the 3rd to last episode the mole will be revealed to be either Audrey's husband,agent jules meritt,or someone within Chloe's circle of hackers
not to mention Miranda Lawson will have a change of heat and start helping Jack/Solid Snake
