2026 Chicago Bears Season Thread

Damn Keenum in.

I’m glad Bagent had a good 3 years, and got a $10 million deal out of it, plus pension eligible. He might’ve played himself out out of the league today.

You're being overly dramatic, there aren't 80 QB's better than him in the league

Fam, this is one of the worst backup performances I’ve seen in a long time. I mean Johnson’s not even calling downfield throws because the arm strength cant get the ball there. I’m just shocked that he has looked so rattled. The protection has been decent enough. I don’t think I’m being overly dramatic at all, man. Let’s not forget that he had 2–3 passes last game that should’ve been picked, but got negated. I don’t know what happened to him, but the fall off has been dramatic.

Ummmm, Mailk Willis was just 1 for 7 with two interceptions until the last drive of the first half. That gave him like 4 for 12

Malik Willis almost beat us last year. I’ve seen him look bad, I’ve never seen him look scared to throw the ball down the field with some zip on it.

Do you watch many other games, because there aren't 80 QB's better for you to say something like one game is going to have him out the league. There's not a lot of good QB play.

I watch Redzone every weekend while watching the Bears. There may not be a lot of great QB play, but tell me who you’ve seen that has been this awful the last two games? He suddenly can’t make NFL throws fam! I don’t know what happened to him, but something just is not right and he does not even look like a serviceable NFL QB right now.

Bears record in the division is terrible with Ben Johnson. You go out and get destroyed today. I've never seen an NFL team repeatedly get killed by the bomb.. Utterly ridiculous! Tyson Bagent, pure trash! 6 int's in two games. Man we need Caleb back ASAP!
Just a pathetic performance against your rivals.

What a week. First Cleveland shits on my baseball team, now this! We got punked, punched in the mouth and kicked in the ass. With no Micah Parsons, no Josh Jacobs, and missing players from an already bad offensive line. For once, I thought we would go into that damn stadium and shove it down their throats. So much for taking the North and not giving it back.

This game leaves a lot more questions than I think anyone anticipated.

Bagent, awful. Johnson, awful. Lowkey Odunze, had a couple of balls through his hands that a WR1 must catch. Ben Johnson, awful.

Booker, as already mentioned, was a bright spot. Our offensive line gave enough time and pass protection for better throws to be made and opened up a lot of holes in the first half for the running game. That was the other bright spot.

This one was just a flat out ass kicking. Onward we go.

I hope Bagent invested his one big payday because their wont be another.....he's done......this was his chance to prove he is an NFL quarterback.....hell, now we will be lucky to get a 7th rounder for him......he gets cut next year.:angry::angry::angry:

He's been one of the worst corners in the league :smh:

Rome has been a disappointment.

I can't see how they give him a second contract. He doesn't have elite speed and he doesn't have Keenan Allen hands.

Nope. Can’t seem to separate either, and he’s let a lot of balls go thru his hands that a WR1 must catch, I think we all are rooting for him because it seem that DJ was the only thing standing between him and the opportunity to reach elite status.

Fam the data agrees with you:

Every Atlanta Falcons QB this season with the exception of Michael Penix Jr., Justin Herbert, Cam Ward. Dillon Gabriel still has a job in the NFL as does Mason Rudolph. I guess you forgot how bad Deshaun Watson had been since the allegations against him years ago. JJ McCarthy just got traded for.
Hell how many former Bears QBs are still in the NFL right now?

Everybody you just named has proven that they can make at least one NFL caliber throw. Still in the league you got Justin Fields. Gabriel and Rudolph? Both positive on the touchdown to interception ratio side. Bagent has 3 TDs to 9 INTS (and should’ve had three more INTs from that Jets game that got negated).

The fact is, he’s just not only not good, he does not have the arm to make NFL throws which I think came as a shock to everyone. Go back and watch the out route to his strong side in first quarter, very simple 5 – 7 yard out that an NFL QB must be able to get there. The pass had absolutely no zip! This is the most basic throw in a QB’s toolbox, he couldn’t do it. And I promise you there are 31 other backups right now that can make that throw, they may not win you a game, but they can at least make THAT throw.
