To be clear, I wasn't endorsing the content but I think it's notable.
Conventional wisdom is definitely not satisfied with where the Democratic candidates went this week. The "Morning Joe" crowd chided them, it will be criticized on Meet the Press today. It's going to be a theme throughout the primary and something for the winner to deal with.
This is what folks don't understand. These illegals are in an underground type off the grid society. They are usually uninsured and waiting until the last minute to be taken care of, then they are really a burden on the system.

Many illegals have tax ID numbers and fake social security numbers. Many more have real social security cards that weren't cancelled when their visas expired.
The IRS usually turns a blind eye to this because 1) It's not their job to enforce immigration law and 2) Most illegals don't want to take the risk of filing tax returns. This allows the country to collect billions in "orphan taxes" with no deductions.

I have been in America for 11 years and was illegal for roughly 4 of them when my visa expired. During those 4 years I was only hospitalized once and my employer took care of the medical bills.
I also made certain not to say a damn thing about it on BGOL during that time because there could be members that work for ICE.
Except that increasing number of sanctuary cities, including New York and San Francisco, have pubic health insurance plans that don't take citizenship into account.
