Offense has just disappeared in the 2nd half
Yup, game over. Loggains play calling was ass, jury still out on him.
Also I would have like to have seen a little more of Carey.
Also: pass rush has been sub-par minus Floyd's sack
These guys still cant put a full game of consistent play together. And Cutler is just an emotional vacuum. He's always gonna be a guy with talent, and toughness but he's not a winner. Its weird trying to explain. He's won games, but he always seems like he's teetering on the edge waiting to become unhinged if the OL doesnt block perfect, or a WR doesnt run a perfect route.
I think the D will have to play a lot better because I have no confidence in the play calling + Cutler. Also,Itll be interesting to see how we play at home, since our record at home last year was miserable (1-7).

Cutler is like fish or chicken he takes on the ingredients you season him with, if the teams ass he will shut it down if we got a spark he will too, I think he's good, but they stripped him of a lot of offense, Jeffery, is ok but needs help,I see royal stepped up but we need way more, and white looks like a wr that ran a fast 40 into a draft spot, dudes is cheeks.

I was thinking Heyward-Bey. At least David Terrell had actual college tape of him beating at Michigan. Kevin White was just big and fast.
I think White will be ok. Lets give him some time to feel his way through things. Cutler isnt the most user friendly QB to work with either.
One thing Ive come to realize about Cutler, and I dont know why it took so long, is he just doesnt have much football smarts or pocket awarness. He cant diagnose where the pressure might be coming from pre snap and he holds onto tbe ball way too long way too often. I know the OL leaves a lot to be desired, but he dont help the situation at all. I think he makes them look worse than they are AT TIMES. And Loggains aint helping either with these long developing plays.

In all of my years of watching football, aside from Marino, Moon, Brady, Rich Gannon, and a handful of other QBs......... All QBs hold on the ball too long. Hell there are QBs that look like the only way they can move the ball downfield is to hold it until the coverage breaks down and hit some guy 30 yards downfield. One plays in Greenbay and gets all sorts of love heaped on him for doing it. So Cutker doing it is whatever.
I do agree he seems oblivious to where the rush is coming and doesnt make any checks to exploit it. But at this point in his career he is what he is. Im past the point of complaining ab out him to be honest. Hes not why the Bears are losing games now.
Every "Playmaker"they ever have,for whatever reason they get rid of em.....Marshall,Forte,Tillman,Urlacher,Benett even the fuckin kicker not sayin these guys were "world beaters" but WHO did you replace them with?right,BUSTERS!!!They are so fuckin hard to watch,you just know they are NOT gonna make any big plays,NONE!SMH
The Oline just needs time to gel. Houston's d line is a beast.
They were fine the first half, but after halftime, Watt and Clowney just destroyed the tackles; Leno Jr. looked lost as all fuck.

The Bears actually looked decent in the 1st half...i dont know what the hell happened in half #2.
Kevin White has some adjustments to make. With his route running and all. He looked lost out there a few times. But that was expected imho. Alshon looked great in the first half...but that ball that he dropped in half #2 was inexcusable.
The Bears shouldve utilized the run more throughout the entire game. The reason why they had success moving the ball via the pass in the 1st half was because they had a nice mix of runs and passes. In the second half they seemed to focus more on passing . If you dont have a OL that can pass protect...then u shouldnt be passing too much.
Massie was getting his ass worked!! But Sitton and them were doing great at containing Watt. The OL as a whole did a decent job considering the fact that this was their first regular season game playing with each other. But we still have a lot of holes to fill. Cutler took some hard ass shots in his chest a few times because the OL failed him. I was surprised that he was able to finish the game. Also...Long needs to get healthy. They say he was playing hurt most of the game.
The game seemed like it was over once Cutler threw that INT. But if we wouldve played a team that passed more...i think this game wouldve been out of reach early on. A few of the guys in our secondary were hurting. Had the Texans not ran the ball 1 million times...we wouldve probably been down by 20 points before the half ended.
I think we play a winnable game on MNF vs the Eagles. But until then..the Bears have a few things that they need to figure out; on offense and defense. But mainly offense.

Another long season ahead but I just want to see better talent added and maybe 2 seasons from now the Bears will be a force.

Cutler was doing decent....but the OL fails ...then he gets crushed or is forced to throw the ball (instant INT) etc etc blah blahb blah
The defense aint that bad...but our offense is fucking pathetic at this point.
None of them seem to be on the same page.
