The patriots lost 26-16 to the broncos. the game was close until talib went out. now losing talib to the broncos patriots had to replace the corners and add depth.
talib missed both past 2 years afc championship games with injuries
but you right receivers need to get brought in......to be continued

But that's the point. you could only manage 16 points. Better wr's and you could do damage.
but really, you need tough guys.
This is kind of a false arms race imo. Us and Seattle didn't get this way loading up on free agents.. I remember this time last year when it was nothing but rumors of players going to play with us and everyone and their momma was saying "oh they trying to build a dream team they gone fail" and "watch out for the chemistry of the team" and all sorts of other stuff and none of them dudes even signed. we both made 1 major move and the others were perfect fits. we got boldin they got harvin. aside from that... fits.. people that people gave up on but with coaching were still beasts...

We suck at LB outside of Von period. I'm not confident with Irving there but I will always hope for the best. I remember when we had one of the fastest linebacker groups. Now.......

I'm so sorry Cam, your leading receiver last year was Tedd Ginn (less than 500 yards) and now things are going to be worse. Hakeem Nicks and Kenny Britt have elite potential, are/were available for lost price contracts and they still won't give you that. If Kelvin Benjamin or Brandin Cooks fell to you guys in the draft, don't get your dick hard because they will prob pass on them and get you a running back instead, because that's all you need to succeed Newton. By the way, rest your legs, because the two best players on your shitty o-line retired. Good luck!
How does it not work? you can not win every year. The Patriots are always in Superbowl contention. In this era of free agency, to keep being in the hunt is not easy to do. People need to stop thinking real sports is like Madden, Fifa or NBA 2K.

He can do some running, but he wasn't good enough to get any meaningful carries.
So minimum you sure up your special teams gets some heart
maximum you have a good bruiser short yardage back to spell your other rb out there.

My comment is not saying that any of you brothas is wrong in your opinions respectively. Here's what I think, though.
What happened in the AFCCG is that Brady sucked and the D unraveled once Talib went down. This is what always happened to the D when Talib was not in the game. It happened in both AFCCG's and during the regular season games that he missed. He just brought a different presence to that team. I think it a) made the Pats realize that BB's defenses only work when he has a stud corner (remember the success with Ty Law), and b) they need depth so that if something happens to Revis or any of the other corners, maybe there won't be such a defensive collapse.
I think what's also at play here, and I know the Broncos have something to do with it, is that BB is trying to return to that winning formula. Defense won them their championships. Defense was how the Giants stopped the perfect season. Defense is how Seattle put a throttling on Denver. Defense wins championships. If those fuckers can get Vince to play ball, it looks like their D is shaping up to be pretty stout this season. They were really good through the first four or so games last season before the injuries gutted them.
Brady has shown he can do the job with marginal receivers. The whole "Brady needs weapons" thing was a result of 2007. If you look before that, look at the SB years, that dude was winning with no name receivers. I still think he can do that if Gronk is healthy and they have a great D. Two tough corners and good LB's, which they have, can win them a championship. At least that's what I think.

What's been doing is a miracle. he's making these dudes money. he's changing systems every single year to go with whatever it is he has. To me he's better than manning. I know I'll get killed. but look how many different types of offenses they've had to run... whatever the personnel is that's what they do

i mean they gave him weapons...legit weapons 1 year and they went fucking 18-1 16-0 for the season and he threw the most td at that point lol.
We're not sweeping the NFC West...we're winning at least 1 game...2-2 at the most...It would be nice to beat Seattle or SF though....
