After looking at it more and more....the one thing I'm really not feeling are the Camaro-ish rear tail lights. Can't figure out why they went that route and didn't stick with the traditional circular tail lights in the past.
Its a thing of beauty...I just wish they kept the round tail lights.

Instead, much of the C7 conversation will center around its squarish, Camaro-esque taillights. "These are our pop-up headlights," Juechter says, referencing the controversial move to fixed headlamps for the C6. That car's single-bulb round taillights may be iconic, but internally they were known as RV lights for their simplicity, and they didn't offer much of a stage for showing off the LEDs that the design team wanted to incorporate for the C7. The stylized solution also provides a connection to the vents, which serve as an outlet to the air inlets on top of the rear fender.
^^ I don't think that's a good rendering of how it could really look. Especially, with removing the black diffuser
I think Chevy could have really figured it out and made it work
Nevertheless, it looks to be a very impressive car and I look forward to the Z06. That's the model I would go with

What Geo Metro driving fag, one starred this thread? Everybody's gotta get their troll on.![]()
With all of the edges on the C7 I don't think circular or oval would have flowed together with it.
From Automobile Magazine:
Here's a photoshop of what possible round lights might have looked like.

I need to see the round tails with the diffuser. If that ps is the argument for round tails, I can see why they went in the other direction.

I understand them wanting to do something different than round lights on this Vette. This is about the only thing you can do with a round LED taillight

Yeah, new style FTW. People are just trying to find a reason to complain at this point. I mean C4 tail lights werent perfectly round in the later years, nobody tripped on that. I'm sure at some point down the line round/roundish taillights will come back. They really don't need anything retro on a Corvette, it should be a forward looking car.
I hear you, interiors are something you have to sit in and touch to get a true feel of how upscale or not it is. I've seen plenty car interiors that look got in pictures, but felt like straight plastic at the auto show. You gotta sit in them man. That said, I don't think this interior looks bad, the driver oriented dash has been done, but it's a driver oriented car. Also that bright red color scheme , I think is what's making it look tacky as SIDESHOW mentioned.
Oh yeah...
It's just the beginning.
So many aftermarket wheels, kits(although this car doesn't need one).
Plus, The new ZRI and ZO6.![]()
