1st visit (specialist btw) he saw me for around 30mins, xrays taken included. Gave me some shots some pills....My shit feels brand new..........COST ME $30 copay. I can live with that.
Second Visit (follow up).....
Doc - Did it work?
Me - Yep, feel great
Doc - ok call me if you need me. BYE
........Cost me $30 copay for a 5min visit.
Third Visit........
ME - My shit hurting again
Doc - Lets do an MRI
Me - OK
had to go up front and schedule an MRI.....visit was 5mins had to pay $30 copay.
4th visit was to the MRI (different building, no relations to specialist office). went in the MRI machine, said fuk it, that shit too tight, I can't stay in that shit, bye.......NO charge.
Now I got a bill from the specialist office saying I owe $188 deductible.
LOL it is a scam...however...its your fault as a patient for letting the doc see you for 5 mins and leave so quick.
You have every right to keep him/her in the room as long as you want asking as many questions as you want...because believe me...each time he or she saw you for 5 minutes each, they billed your insurance company for 60 min + easily...especially depending on what they prescribed you and/or administered to you....they love to rush people in and out so they can see as many patients per day as possible

oh yeah...You may be able to get out of paying your $188 deductible bill. Call your ins and see what the specialist billed for
