how does one go about finding a good barber?

trial and error...

recommendations work sometimes but everyone doesnt have the same idea of what a good cut is so a recommendation can only go so far.

once you find a barber you like depending on what you are getting done and your schedule it is best you schedule an appointment. no women wants to sit around a barbershop all day being hit on and listening to some of things that are discussed in there...

second one did an okay job but tried to pull one over on me cause he thought i was brand new...well it was cause he had to explain what a taper and just about everything else...but then he tried to charge me $15!!....i thought he was playing at first but he was dead serious...i might be new...but im not brand new....i have a side shave (the one rihanna is rocking right now)...no reason why i should be charged for a full head

both times i walked in and just got a head nod...apparently they thought i was one of the guys getting their hair cut gf....i sat....then finally asked if they could even fit me in...and both times they was like..."ohhh u want a cut"

Been there!! I hate that feeling. Hang in there though. See, I gave up and stopped calling... when I decided to talk to her again months later, she was off the market. I was so angry and disappointed, but wished her luck. I still think about her to this day and ask myself "what if". My life would be way different right now more than likely, alot of events wouldn't have happened.

I was so angry and disappointed, but wished her luck. I still think about her to this day and ask myself "what if".
