Next time someone says "TV shouldn't be a babysitter", smack the shit out of them. Take a two year old with slack parents that spoil his ass, add 40 yr old uncle who ain't putting up with that bullshit, and then add "Madagascar 3" and "Ice Age" and you have peace and quiet for 3 straight hours.

it is hard to do self assessments sometimes. Is there someone that you can talk to that will tell you the honest truth about your dating and relationship habits? Are you willing to receive their perspective?
Good start of the tv season.
I'm enjoying the return of "Boardwalk Empire" (Jeffrey Wright is on fire), "Survivor", "The Middle", "Modern Family", "The Ultimate Fighter", and finishing up "Hell on Wheels", "The Newsroom", and "The Bridge".
"Arrow" starts this week and I'm looking forward to it.
Not to mention "Walking Dead", "Game of Thrones", "Bates Motel", and "American Horror Story: Coven" (with fine ass Angela Bassett).
Fox has their own version of "Grimm" in "Sleepy Hollow" and it's great. As is "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", which was surprisingly good.
The best part is I enjoy all these and more with the wife so I know there is one person in the world watching the same shows.

I have cried "man tears" over and over about this. I'm elated about becoming a father but deflated by how I treated you. I wish I could just take my kid and let you fly free but your norturing personality won't allow that. I'm sorry I am helping perpetuate the exhausted cycle of single parenthood but I can't continue this facade. I can only ensure my son or daughter knows that I am present.
