i can see some shit brewing with beyonce's camp and j-hudson. Dreamgirls was not all that truth be told and beyonce's part was limited. But you have to look at all the other parts beyonce have played.......................none cause Austin Powers was some Bullshit-she just had to look pretty on that and smile.

Now J-hud will not win an Oscar...................be real now her acting career just started. But Hollywood plastic surgeons will make her lips smaller and do a rhino on her nose give her many more parts and then she will win one in about 3 years from now.

personally, leo may have killed the role, but he pissed off the academy.
remember his boycott after he didnt get nominated for titanic?
the academy never forgets that shit.
they'll fuck him on the oscar just for that alone.

marty will prolly win, not for his work in the departed, but for the past 30 years of work he's been fucked over on before.. there gonna do him like they did pacino, denzel, and morgan freeman.. nominate them a gang of times, then finally give them the oscar on a film that didnt even display their best work..

now djimon, mark walberg, and forest whitaker are academy darlings. mark has previously been nominated, forrest had won every award BUT the oscar, and this is djimon's third time at bat. one thing forrest has is clint eastwood cosigning for him, whom the academy LOVES. forrest will prolly win just from that connection alone. i dont think eddie has a shot, because dreamgirls was written so well (as a play and a film), that anyone couldve pulled it off and looked good.. hell, jamie fox couldve played eddies part. this is the reason why i dont think jennifer hudson has a shot. if fantasia gained the 20lbs beyonce lost, AND LEARNED HOW TO READ THE DAMN SCRIPT she wouldve gotten a nod. with a role like that, u cant do anything but shine. dreamgirls is just a well-casted film that had limitations on where the actors could go performance wise.. even eddie (who is notorious for going off-script in his movies) was restricted to stay on script. i think the academy will give it to djimon this time, just to piss off leo again.
