This is a re-air from the day of his death in 2005.

6:10, the first caller was George Carlin, very nice surprise hearing those two interact-- a touching exchange.

There's a funny bit around 14 minutes in where he talks about living with his ex-wife, who he calls "the Nazi." He also talks about the OJ trial, expressing solidarity with OJ.

They follow that with a 1987 interview. Pryor says the film he was proudest of was "Which Way Is Up?" I always love hearing the greats talk about who inspired and influenced them and he talks a lot here about Jerry Lewis and Jackie Gleason. A caller asked if he'd like to play a serious role as an actor and he said yes but that's not for him, which I found weird because I expected him to reference the Jo Jo Dancer movie, which was serious, released just the previous year and a very good performance from him. Interesting bit ~26:00 about his introduction to cocaine, how it helped and hurt him, and how he got clean (it wasn't the fire incident).

"I don't know about what happiness is because that can make you real unhappy, thinking about 'Are you happy?'" -- I've been thinking about that a lot lately.

I only watched 3mins of it because I hate to see someone so full of life to end up in that condition

I would rather remember him holding up the Wonder Wheel before it's timely death and Stir Crazy which is a classic

It's really insightful, though... The body is just a shell, the mind was still working. I enjoyed it as much as the 1987 interview-- You can skip ahead to that to hear him in kind of a retrospective at the end before anybody knew it was the end.
