here's an all-natural deodorant recipe...used by one of my "all-natural" type co-workers.
4 tablespoons coconut oil - moisturizer/carrier
4 tablespoons shea butter - moisturizer
3 tablespoons corn starch - anti wetness
3 tablespoons baking soda - anti odor
10 drops of your favorite essential oil - i use peppermint or cedarwood; this is optional
melt the coconut oil & shea butter over low, low heat until liquified.
let the oils cool & stir-in the corn starch & baking soda
add-in the essential oils
store in a small container & keep it in the fridge or on the counter in your bathroom.
USE A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OR YOU MAY POSSIBLY DEVELOP A RASH; apply an amount the size of your pinky nail.
when you first start using it, you may have a slight odor due to all the aluminum (found in commercial deodorants) leaving your pores.
i've tried this with formulation with good results. at first, i did apply too much and got a rash, but it went away quick.
