16 yr old LeBron getting discovered at ABCD camp after dominating the number 1 player

Lebron changed history there, killed Lenny Cooke's reputation and mystique. Lenny lost his confidence, all downhill after that. He should have played at least a year of college ball, but did not want to go to school.

That Lebron Factory page is pure dopeness.

People don’t give credit to the greatness that is Lebron.

‘Not just Lebron the ball player but Lebron the father, the husband and mentor.

Carry on…..

I don’t want to bang on him because he was a kid, but he was a top of the line dickhead. It’s crazy how he was trying to “little man” niggas who eventually made it to the show. There’s a clip of him taking to Carmelo....straight talking to him like he was a child.

The wild thing is, he was good enough to make a career outside of the USA. But he fucked up his knees, and it was a wrap from there

In all of these documentaries about amateur basketball players that didn’t fulfill their potential, one thing that they all have in common....no father around

cooke?

Sadly people are too mad at him for unknown reasons to see and truly appreciate him for what he’s done and brought to the game and life.

Jordan fucked it up for Lebron and Kobe, I always say that. They were unfairly compared to Jordan, and that is why they get attacked and discredited for some shit.

If there was never Jordan, and everybody wearing Air Jordan's to remind people everyday how much of a legend he is, Kobe and Lebron would have been seen as Gods of Basketball.

Jordan maxed out the sport to the point that nothing now is really impressive to older fans (outside of Curry's shooting), it helped globally, but hurt the game in the long run. Older fans are still waiting for the next Jordan, instead of appreciating today's players.

Lebron raised the bar on longevity and consistency so high, NBA might struggle to find somebody to follow behind him. There will not be another Lebron or Jordan probably this century.

Lenny Cooke didn't want to work hard and LeBron did, this clip is all you need to know from that Lenny Cooke documentary.....

100%

When I give talks, especially to children, I always emphasize that someone who is willing to working harder than everyone will always trump talent. And that it is those individuals who are willing to work harder than everyone else who become great and the leaders of their fields or genres.

This is also why I tell parents you have to make your kids do the things they do not want to sometimes. Especially when you know it's in their best interest. Studying, homework, coding camps, sports camps, drills at home, lifting weights, losing weight, etc. Parents have to parent until they are in the grave.

He is black and speaks out against racism, that is reason enough. White people like their black athletes to not speak up.

So much wisdom here but it is MUCH more difficult to actually do in real life.
But we need to strive to this all day every day.
going through that now.

Very easy...apply pressure...and fuck being your kids friends....look at them like they are your employees....and you will be just fine...brah

Only a percentage of kids can handle that pressure though.

Universities are giving students at least 4 mental health days a semester because of pressure.

Even at my daughter’s school and she online. Different breed of kids and society coddles them.

Kobe and LBJ are looked at as gods though; unfairly compared to MJ yes; but still looked at as gods...

Raising kids start at birth...not at 13...my son got hunnids...on his report card...brah

Bro I had teachers and counselors came at me...

But when the straight As while leading strings, playing sports and writing for the school paper?

Crickets.

But one yawn in homeroom?

Playa you being to difficult

Bruh these kids now are not built for that.
Oh, they built for it, they are just waiting on a motherfucker they love and love them back. They recognize real and they follow real. They are willing to put that effort in if they know you are real. And when they see what you tell them come true, they become great. They are better than us in that way. Plus, they don't take no shit. Frankly, you have to earn their respect, with us, it was built in the culture. No so much with them anymore.
