A lot of money in the tv deals is dependent upon them finishing the season. Plus the cap ramifications for the future is tied to this & the same for the NFL. We're now seeing how tied to society & the economy sports are.
i agree but never underestimate greed. if a player (Lebron!) gets it and don't show symptoms im sure the won't tell everyone he tested positive so they can continue the playoffs

It's no different than states wanting to open back up, because they're paying an extra $600 a week to all these unemployed people or these restaurants wanting to open back up from all the money they've lost.

If the NFL would just hold off til January, they will probably be able to play 8 games. They way they going about it now, they gone play 2 games and the rest of the season gonna be washed.
