Every last one of those vehicles listed is still on the road today. Sites like cargurus and craigslist have vehicles that are 20 years or older that get sold on the regular. My Aunt's Tercel was about 30 years old and still ran good. She simply wanted something else when she parted with it one day. Some of her friend's newer vehicles were falling part with all kinds of maintenance issues that she never had to worry about.
Also, a frugal neighbor of mine had an early 2000's Prius from high school. The only reason she got something else a few years ago, was because it was in an accident. It out lasted her girlfriend's vehicles. She told me, the same girlfriends who would try to talk her into getting something newer.
If a person really needs something NOW with limited funds OR simply doesn't want to spend but so much on a vehicle, those vehicles listed are a good option, fam.
