This is a thousand miles past "gone too far". Here it is 2013, if you asked me in the 90s if shit would be better by now I would have said yes. Most are K-8th schools. In the suburbs they are separated but many still exist. Chicago Public Schools and Rahm Emmanuel only care about packing the kids in tight with large class sizes and shit. Fail all around.

The crazy thing lil mouse looks like my godson, but they are similar yet total opposite. My gondson is a awesome kid, good with computers and music just like me. I don't want nobody projecting "thug" onto my godson.. Its just a bad situation period. Complex factors involved. Families, communities, law enforcement, poverty, gang leadership, gang splintering, politicians, mentorship, parenting, youth culture and a ton of other factors all converging.
No quick or simple answers or solutions. Something can be done about it to stop it or lessen it's effect but are people on different fronts willing to do something about it collectively?
If not these discussions, news stories and deaths will be continuing for quite some time.
