Man, he's 19, but I don't see that "it" factor man. Kendall Marshall does the same thing as Lonzo.
I'll say again, what I've said before: The only reason the expectations for Lonzo are so high, and we're so focused on him, is because of his father.
Now, he was definitely good at UCLA, but he wasn't some all-time great college player. He played damn well, but every lottery pick plays DAMN WELL in college.
I agree. He could have benefited from another year to develop his skill sets, especially that shot.
Thats my whole point. No doubt he's only 19, but so is Tatum and some of the other rookies. All of them are going to struggle at times, but Lonzo really looks regular out there. Nothing at all about his play, his demeanor, etc. says he has 'it'. Maybe it wouldn't be so pronounced if his dad didn't just have a big fucking mouth he wouldn't be under such a microscope, but i seems like he he doesn't have the mentality to deal with the pressure his Dad has put on him, and he wrote checks his son from the neck up can't cash.
He doesn't look like he's having fun and his entire body language is off.. You can't fix 'certain' physical issues, but mental weaknesses can't be fixed....

I really feel that way Bruh... Just look at his flow. Kid looks dejected 2 mins into the game! While I really think he's overrated and like my man said, I see more Kendall Marshall in him than a real super start, its a lot to live up to all the dumb shit his father said leading up to this season: He already better than Steph Curry, will be bigger than Magic, all that dumb shit. Now his father has hit the mute button and leaving Lonzo to deal with this pressure by himself

Got damn its self explanatory. The coverage isn't consistent. If it was some college football bullshit, kap related nfl or some cac did this today coverage would be front and center. Its 82 regular season games and 28 squads.

He has great vision and is a great passer, he's also a winner. He's a step slower adjusting, hopefully he gets there.
No one cared about UCLA for years until Zo got there and it had nothing to do with his Dad.
I ran across the vid below a couple of days ago and it's spot on to what many of his issues are.
You're talking about UCLA, I'm talking about the pros. Sold-out summer league games. Every Sports-talk show analyzing and scrutinizing him after every game. Fans either supporting him to an extreme, or hating him to an extreme. VERY, VERY uncommon for a rookie with no resume, and it is entirely because of his father's praise of his son.
Like I said, he was good in college. But lottery picks usually are.
