100 Bullets

[Lady-Wiz]

100 Bullets is an Eisner and Harvey Award-winning comic book written by Brian
Azzarello and illustrated by Eduardo Risso. It is published in the USA by DC
Comics under its Vertigo imprint and is tentatively set to run for a little over
100 issues.

Style

Both the writing and artwork in 100 Bullets exemplifies the noir and pulp
genres. It presents morally ambiguous stories with dark realism.
Consistent with noir convention, most of the characters are deeply flawed.

Influenced stylistically by films such as Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and
Reservoir Dogs, Bryan Singer's The Usual Suspects, Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and
Two Smoking Barrels and Paul Thomas Anderson's Hard Eight, and by authors like
Elmore Leonard, Eddie Bunker, Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler.

Great Stuff

Highly Entertaining. Would love to see a tv/film explored.A weekly show where Agent Graves showed up with his attache and a picture of someone who's wronged some shcmuck. would be good shit! Save the Minutemen/Trust saga for some live action movies!

I havent finished the entire story yet, i just read the 12 TPBs and am waitin on the last two. So far I guess Wylie and Dizzy's stories have been the most interesting to me.
