Don't even get me started on that shit. My expectation for the Eternals was definitely more than what I got. That movie could have introduced so many things up to and including mutants instead we got super robots WTF.

And to piggyback on part of what you posted.
This is about: if you're going to include marginalized or under-represented people to the story, then DO-IT-RIGHT.
Don't pander to, alienate or preach to the audience. (Especially a fan base that has passionately supported a particular franchise for the years. Perhaps even for decades...) Because in doing so, you only end up aggravating them and push them further and further away.
