You could interpret it that way but at the end the line on the screen read 'verbal street privilege'. The joke of the piece is supposed to be about about a man walking but seems to be more about a WHITE man walking. White privilege.

That's what I took away from this. It asks the question "Are you really being bothered by people praising you in some way?". Women work out, put on make up, and spend hours picking out outfits because they want attention. A fat guy with some game can still pick up a girl...a fat girl is in deep shit because most women don't know how to approach and talk to a stranger.


It is a jab at white privilege with him being offered jobs and loans during his walk. Obviously exaggerated, but that's where the humor comes from.
