One of the coolest moms I've ever met. Super generous, hosted fun birthday parties, etc.
2 best memories ... one of her son's birthdays they rented a yellow school bus and packed in a bunch of his friends and took us out to dinner & bowling alley. We had a blast.
Another time I was spending the weekend at their place as my parents were out of town (around 7th grade). She said let's do a fondue night ... took us out grocery shopping and bought a bunch of stuff. We had a FEAST that night ... her, her boyfriend, us kids ... we were knocking back so much food.
Or if my parents were working on weekends and we had a game that morning (soccer or basketball) ... she would say come back to our place afterward. Get cleaned up, have lunch & watch daytime wrestling (late-80s or early-90s).
Just cool as fuck. Shoutout to her.
