Thanks for the replies, fam'. I think what works really well for these visuals/diagrams is that they're basically like easy-to-read POSTERS. They make sense & encourage you to "do better" with your food choices. We put up some similar material at work as helpful reminders (especially in the new year). It's so much easier to "take the easy way" in life (i.e. - the quick food or snack), but your body will thank ya for taking the time to go above & beyond. We ain't getting any younger or slimmer as Mother Nature takes over, right?

Thanks, Tinman and BR357. I talked to a friend on the eastcoast and she said she was planning to print & photocopy some of the charts and take them to some of the local soup kitchens & food banks/shelters she has donated to & volunteered at. I was like - hell yeah!

thanks OP. its stuff like this that make BG special.

Thanks, fam'. Mike Dolce had some simple pearls of wisdom in the world of MMA too. Saying on his podcast repeatedly the importance of "Earth-grown nutrients" and trying to consume as much food close to its natural state as possible. Try to steer away from all the bullshit bagged, boxed & processed stuff that's around us all the time ... and make your own. Have it once in awhile, but don't have it routinely/regularly. Learn to enjoy/appreciate cooking up your own stuff and having GO-TO items you buy at the grocery store or produce spot. If possible ... grow some of your own fruits or vegetables, etc. At work last year they even set up a garden and that was pretty dope for everyone. Fresh peas, beans, apples, lettuce, kale, tomatoes, and strawberries.
