Sure thing, bro. So hard to keep up with the cards these days. It used to be PPV / VERSUS.

Now it's PPV / FOX / FUEL / FX ... fuck. I ain't complainin', but damn ... we just had the TUF FINALE last week, and UFC 147 is in 2 weeks

I set my DVR for today's joints as it's tough to sit for 5 - 5.5 hours on a Friday with commercial breaks. I'm skimming later :D

I was sick of hearing the song California Love all the way back in 1999. It had become the most disliked most un-gangster Tupac song ever to me in a matter of two and a half years after its release. I don't know what did it: the oversaturation via radio repetition or hearing it played by really bad DJs in suburban night clubs between songs like 'Brown Eyed Girl' and the RUN DMC Aerosmith mash up 'Walk This Way'. Either way 'California Love' was dead for me long ago.

I didn't even like it when Urijah Faber started coming out to it in WEC. Sure, I understood the significance of it's use with Urijah being known as 'The California Kid'-it was catchy and appropriate. But let's face it, Urijah is not a kid anymore and you have to change things up sometimes to keep it fresh. This song needs to be laid to rest alongside the old UFC intro song-Stemm's 'Face the Pain'. Why not switch it up to Biggie's "Going, going...back, back...to Cali..." That would be a much more grown up song for someone at a much more grown up stage of their fight career.

I'm not alone my exhaustion with the 'California Love' enrtrance. I'm sure many of you are too. Urijah Faber is even over it. On The Joe Rogan Podcast last night he told Joe he would like to walk out to some old school Geto Boys or even LL COOL J's "Goin' Back to Cali" but apparently Dana will not let him. This reminds me of my Dad only allowing the DJ at my high school graduation party to play Billy Joel and Air Supply music. OK, maybe this thing with Dana isn't quite that embarassing or extreme but its still not very cool man. Check out Urijah and Joe expressing walk out music frustration on The Rogan Podcast-starts at about the 09:30 mark.

Doing pretty well with my picks so far 2 fights in.

I tend to range from 65 - 72% most cards ... still not enough to be a gambler though. I can't be riskin' my savings when I'm hit/miss  - lowest was about 45% ... highest around 80 - 85% in recent years.

GENERAL SPOILER = http://www.tapology.com/ue/152461.png

Really lookin' forward to this fight.

Yeah - I've been watching the 24/7 specials of late, as I didn't get them formerly on my Canadian networks. Watched a couple of the Pacman/Bradley ones this morning. Props to the crew on that, and same for the guys who do the UFC PRIMETIME specials for MMA. Both are quality product(s).

Pretty uneventful. Card kinda sucks except for main event and maybe another fight. Seems only 1 fight didn't go the distance so far.
