I use VLC player...when the video is playing or paused, you can take a take of snapshot of whatever is playing. I'm using a mac right now so you would go to the menu bar - click video - and scroll down to snapshot. Or you can use press the option * command * "S" keys and take the pic.... Windows VLC has a cool feature that lets you advance frame by frame, so it helps get a great pic with minimal blur, for some reason VLC for Mac doesn't have this so you have to use trial and error which sucks. Its odd because everyone always says Macs are best for video editing but I find what comes standard on a mac severely lacking next to a PC... But I digress....hopefully this helps. Happy Creeping
