Should let coaches play? So instead of yelling on the sidelines with the fuckin headphones on you can take your ass in there and show them how you want it done. Some might do O k Some would be in big trouble Ahh Andy Reed

Let's defenses hit the qb, and bring back corner contact with receivers

This 400yd passing shit every week, by rookie qbs and shit is like fucking tecmo bowl

It's getting a tad ridiculous imo

Just put flag football out there

i still cant understand the touchdown rules... now if the running back dives into the endzone but fumbles in the zone it is a touchdown but if the receiver jumps up catches the ball in the zone comes down with two feet and then falls and loses the ball it is not a touchdown...

that is something that i will never understand the logic towards that.

Its about having control/possession of the ball. A receiver has to establish that he has control of the ball in bounds. And a catch is only made when the receiver maintains possession of the ball even when being hit by the ground or a player. A person that has maintained control of the ball before entering the endzone has already established possession. Once he breaks the goal line, it is a touchdown. Think of a running back that is fumbling the ball when he crosses the goal line - it will not be a TD until he has possession.

What I would like to see: Holding go to 5 yards and not 10, when replays are inconclusive, the team should not be penalized for making the refs check the replay. Also, I think allowing 2 people in motion would add some excitement.

No 5 yard contact rule.

Mike Wallace and Desean Jackson would each have 2000 receiving yards, though.

i understand what you are say but it is still bullshit because a runner can fumble in mid air not even be on the ground and as long as they break that plane it is a td.

another reason why the rule is bs is because the book states "the ground can't cause a fumble" but if i hit the ground and the ball comes out i'm screwed of a touchdown. we have seen players make great catches dot the i and cross the T and still get robbed because of the rule.

The corners can touch wide receivers. Just within the 5 yard rule. You can throw them niggas out of bounds but within 5 yards. Now after 5 yards you can't touch them and honestly you shouldn't be able to.

Its all about possession. And it maybe bullshit, but it is what it is.

The ground cant cause a fumble if the person has possession. So, if a receiver caught the ball in the endzone, takes 3 steps, then hits the ground and the ball fumbles out, it is a touchdown. The act of a catch is having the ball secure with 2 feet down inbounds and maintaining possession throughout the act of the catch. Now with a touchdown catch, the catch rule has to apply.

The reason why the rule for breaking the plane of the goal line exists is because you mark the ball at its furthest point of progression or forward progress. You cant really say a receiver has possession until the act of the catch is completed.

Theres too many for me ...but Id start with

1) adding a 4 pt conversion following a touchdown from the 10yd line.

2) Allow Nike to make the uni's and get rid of Reebok making the Uniforms.

I think Nike is gonna be making them after this season.

Or that "break the plane of the goal line with the ball" bullshit. It should be the same for the recievers as it is for the running backs.

And don't get me started on that fucked up bullshit they call the "Tuck aka Fuck the Raiders Rule"!!!!!

you are right kind sir

that is the point i was trying to make the rb can jump in the air fumble in mid air and it is still a td the receivers are held to higher standards for some reason

i would end the exclusivity deal with DirectTV and start letting people watch what ever game they want on Sundays..cause I ain't not fucking Titans fan so stop trying for force me to be

and fuck you EA Sports.....

There should not be two positions for a Punter and a Kicker. They should merged into one. I have no idea why a Kicker does not have the ability to also punt the ball. Seems like a "Kicker" should have the requisite knowledge and ability to also punt the ball down field.

redzone does just the same... but i would love to get an nfl app like i have for mlb.

Or, the receiver can catch the ball, tap both feet down inbounds while clearly possessing the ball, land on his elbow, or worse, his head/neck causing the ball to pop out and will have it ruled an incompletion. Or jump straight up in the endzone, catch the ball and get pushed out by the defender and have it ruled incomplete, but a runner can get knocked out of bounds @ the 1 yd line, extend his hand and the ball OVER the corner marker and have it ruled a TD, without EVER touching the endzone.

Change the overtime rules. Do it like college. At least that way you can see who the actual best team is. Cuz if your defense is trash then you fucked if you dont win the toss.

No more exclusive licensing agreements with video game companies cause madden has been trotting out the same bullshit since NFL 2K5!

FUCK MANDDEN! NFL 2K5 FOREVER!

*two cents*

But they're two completely different disciplines.

dude if you got direct DTV u can't get redzone

my bad from your statement you made it seem like you didn't have directtv and was looking for an alternative :confused::confused:

wait DTV??? is that just digital basic? hell if you have that you cant get anything except local anyway.

do like i do have redzone on one laptop a game or two on the desktop. then flip back and forth between the local games playing and redzone on the tv

yeah if you got DVT they want you to get the ticket which includes redzone...:smh: fuck that

I agree with adding the college football style of overtime.

Also, soften the "unsportsmanlike conduct" rules. Dudes getting penalties for taunting the opposing team. These are grown ass men!

Soften the excessive celebration after a touchdown rule.

AGREED THAT FOOL HAS PADS AND A HELMET JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE ON THE FIELD:hmm:

Oh...so you just too cheap to pay for the ticket?
not the point i had the ticket last year and every other year. the first time i got it it was $150.. now it's almost $300 ...not worth it

but since you so interested on what another man is spending his money on you buy it for me bitch..:hmm:

1. Taunting would be allowed
2. 15 second touchdown celebration - anything goes (just can't touch the other team)

2. 15 second touchdown celebration - anything goes (just can't touch the other team)
They allow (encourage) touchdown celebrations in the Canadian Football League and the fans love it.

The Tuck Rule. Beyond bullshit. If the ball is stripped from the quarterback at any point before it leaves his hand it is a FUMBLE.

Overtime sudden death works. Fuck all that win on a coin flip talk if you lose the toss it's up to your defense to do it's job and stop the other team.
