Damn....I forgot all about him being from Brooklyn.....
I hear it everywhere. And I didn't like it also. Now, i just tolerate it. It wasn't until i realized that it is a mixtape song that made me look at it a different way.

What in the entire fuck?!?! Please tell me that boy is on the spectrum. It's like Cuba Gooding Jr. from Radio became a trap rapper.
Part of the issue with us old folks is that we listened to music with substance almost like getting a home cook meal. Younger folks raised off McDonalds and can't appreciate a good meal. But, they wonder why they sick. I don't hate what she has done cause its catchy, but young people live in a fantasy world world because they believe these artist are genuine and for the most part they are fabricated or they talk about things they don't know about with so much conviction it feels true.
Sidenote I respect her grind and oddly enough she is at this point authentic up until all the Gang ish. She came from nothing and is pretty much on the top of the female rap game now. The rhymes are DREADFUL though. Remember when you listened to a rapper and would be like they nice I could never do that. Now its like my 8 year old son could make this if I sent him to his room for 20 min with no electronic devices.

Every era has their simple music that technical music lovers will hate on and never get why it's popular. BP(anthers)OL circa 1978 was hating on some shit back then we look at as hot today. Not everyone gonna be a Nas or Jay-Z. People used to hate on Missy in her prime but look forward to her now when she attempts a comeback. Y'all gotta respect this song as a club banger, nothing more.
