After Five Guys switched from serving fries in cups to paper bags, numerous complaints have been popping up across the U.S. about the worse packaging which leaves grease stains and results in less fries.
Five Guys sent out a statement to address the complaints:
"We're using the same fresh cut potatoes and generous portions but this new packaging helps fries hold their texture and keeps takeout and delivery fresher, longer. Five Guys has been getting feedback on our new fry bags, and we want to make sure customers know our fry portions remain unchanged. Our extra scoops are absolutely not going away. You're getting the same portions in the same sizes as our fry cups..."
