I don't personally know nobody that lost a job since November, but my circle is small as fuck. I do know at my job they eliminated 140 positions, but only 8 was in my dept, and the positions were vacant.

Lexx, honestly brother I think we’ve discussed it but what can we really do? I’m grateful I’m still working but I’ve inherited a team that hides their racism and truly has a problem with my being in charge, and I can see them trying bullshit daily. But the problem is so widespread and this administration continues to put new policies in place and rig elections, that it’s not much we can do. And we all are just trying to get through the daily bullshit. But I understand your point.

You know there's black businesses right? You know they have employees right? There's a possibility that a black biz was shutdown during that period and black employees lost their jobs.

People think they will be able to work at 1 job for decades which is rare or never happens.
But that's why people need to have a backup plan when things go left but not a lot of people are prepared for that.
