I think thats a wrong read. Trump isnt impulsively doing anything. The military's excursions that he's doing have a point. One that rooted in moves coming from rightwing white nationalist think tanks like the people who wrote project 2025. They telegraph their shot before they do it.
Hegshit wasn't droning on and on about LETHALITY and WAR ETHOS and the DOD wasnt renamed the dept of WAR for nothing. Who benefits from this....dont just follow the money...follow the POWER. Look at what trump et al are doing around the world...those things aren't the impulsive actions of an addled mind. STOP underestimating and misreading all of his actions..there is an endgame here. I'm not saying trump is a mastermind I"m saying that he's on board with a white nationalist agenda and is using his position to make as many moves as possible before any serious push back can be mounted.

i mean its a great idea but its bad - wiping those records means people and companies could not secure loans to expand or maybe do their payroll- it means banks would have to slowdown and possibly wait until the debt record is corrected AND it means that markets that depend on debt as a means of securitization or even as a means to make money will fuck up opur already downward market.
if noone can borrow money because banks wont loan money it doesnt matter what your credit score is - they just wont let you have access to any ... and likely the intrest rate would skyrocket so all that revolving debt you have on credit cards would have a massive increase in monthly rates that likely you cant pay off.
and lets not even talk about mortgages - the housing sector and loans would also freeze for a period meaning no new purchases no refinances - home builders would have to shut down resulting in lost jobs and and a hold on new investments to build because whats the point of building a real property if you cant tell who you should allow to buy it ....if there is even anyone able to buy because with no debt record you cant issue a mortgage .....
