Ladies has your preference changed?

How much has your preference changed since you've start dating. Do you still have some fundamental requirements from men (automatic must have's).

the crazy thing is my PREFERENCE has not changed one bit from when I was a little girl LOL (dark skinned, built muscular & strong and average height). However, there are some guys who I have given a chance in the recent past who I never would have dated when I was a teen/younger woman (really tall guys, light skinned guys, and skinny guys).

Like Followup said, my preferences maybe haven't changed, but the man I was close to marrying was far from my initial type/preference. I've just expanded the type of men I would go out with because I realized that, hey, there is beauty in all flavors

That being said, a man still has to be intelligent, have a great sense of humor and good conversation (regardless of what he looks like) to have me hooked

I think my tastes have expanded as the years have gone on.
Requirements that's funny. It's not so much a focus on requirements as knowing your boundaries I think and wanting someone that shares your values (for me that's basically a commitment to physical and spiritual health, lifelong learning, respect for natural living, and some sense of social justice for people of color). That's a tall enough order without a long list of additional requirements.

“PREFERENCE, n. A sentiment, or frame of mind, induced by the erroneous belief that one thing is better than another. An ancient philosopher, expounding his conviction that life is no better than death, was asked by a disciple why, then, he did not die.

"Because," he replied, "death is no better than life." It is longer.”

Exactly

Great post!
