Never done shit??? The #227 pick in the draft (who rushed for over 1,150 yards and caught 61 passes last season) over the #1 pick in the draft, who finally had a decent HALF-season after being a total UNDERachiever for his entire career??
Hillis has only performed for one season.
He might NEVER have another season like this.
We have seen a lot more from Vick over the years, even with his so called "underachieving"
He had a better then above average year for a running back. Hell, the choice should have been between Aaron Rodgers and Michael Vick. No way shape or form Peyton Hillis should ever be on the cover of anything that doesn't have to do with the Browns.
I am a philly fan, and I know I voted atleast 30 times for Hillis so Vick wouldnt be on the cover. I am guessing the rest of us crazzy Philly fans did the same. They said Hillis got 66% of the vote and Vick only 33%. I am really glad he lost, but I thought it would be closer than that.
That's fine never said he wasn't a good player....but one break out season doesn't get you a madden cover unless you're white.....period
This is only about "ONE season."
Vick was a big ZERO the previous 3 years (and an enigma for the previous 6). Hillis only became a STARTER this past season, and he actually showed up the previous two years, averaging 5.0 Yards per Carry in the one he played the most in.
This one season Vick made it to the pro bowl... Won comeback player of the year...Got his jersey in the hall of fame...Lead his team to the playoffs..and was in the MVP race all season...that ONE season?
Or Hills who only had one good game vs an above average defense? Bmore week 3..

You should worry more about Vick "doing well" next season (after his 2nd half and playoff belly-flops) than about someone else's "Madden Curse."
Guess Hills should worry about the "madden curse" and playing like shit 2nd half....
