Fans in Puerto Rico are tearing him to pieces. Apparently he had a recent beef with Wilfredo Vasquez Jr also. Anyway, the way Juanma was in a life and death battle with super bum Mtagwa, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Salido was one of the safest opponents they could have given him but Juanma is clearly not an elite fighter.

Mufuccas act like talent and power will get them through. Though I must disagree with Zef. Salido was in no way a safe opponent. He knocked down Gamboa hard, took JMM the distance and fought well, is tough as fuck and a former champ, plus he has power. But I agree, Juanma is clearly not the elite fighter people thought he was.

Well, obviously you are right about Salido. He definitely did not turn out to be a safe opponent. Anyway, as highly touted as Juanma was, Salido should have been considered safe.
