Nearly four years after JaMarcus Russell(notes) became the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft, his playing career may have completely bottomed out after “life coach” John Lucas asked Russell to leave Houston recently, two sources close to the quarterback told Yahoo! Sports.

Russell, 25, and Lucas had been working together since September in hopes of getting Russell into shape for a return to the NFL. The aforementioned sources say Russell, released by the Oakland Raiders last May, initially worked hard, but quickly lost motivation. Recently Lucas tired of trying to get Russell, the top pick in 2007, to respond to instruction and assistance.

I wouldn't put him over Leaf. I think even the casual NFL fan knew that Young Jeezy was gonna be a bust. All he had was an arm. That was it. Plus, you gotta have a classic tidbit like this to top Leaf.:lol:

 
I predict in a couple of years his money will be dwindling, and without an education he'll realize the opportunity he blew. By then he'll be like 350lbs and he'll try to train to get back on an NFL squad, maybe end up in the CFL or UFL or somethin.

This is if he doesn't end up in jail first.

Imagine going through life running in to gold diggers(men and women) trying to get you for your money and other people who think you're a dumb ass for blowing the chance of a lifetime.

I was listening to them talk about Tom Brady the other day, all the shit the NFL does is a joke anytime you draft immature bums like this.

I knew dude was going to be a bust, when they were like he can throw the ball 150 yards, but the Raiders coaching staff didn't trust him to throw the ball over 10.

How the fuck do you end up 8 for 17 for 80 yards in the NFL. They pass more than that in high school.
 
Dude's money will dwindle and he'll get caught up in the dope game, get busted and wonder where it all went wrong for him.

saw him play twice live @ arrowhead,,, dude was a bum,,, throwing incomplete passes hard as fuck in the turf,,, i heard they would give bro the playbook for the upcoming week on dvd, but he obviously wasn't watching them,,, so one week they gave him a blank dvd & asked him what he thought about the plays,,, & he said, "yeah, everything looks cool!",,, dude robbed oakland!

Dude's who've make 5x that and played for 10 years still go bust after retiring from the NFL. This young and dumb character will run through $25M (or half that after taxes) in a minute.
